Suddenly that Toyota recall about the spiders about a year ago doesn't seem to be such a big deal.

(For those who might not remember: http://jalopnik.com/toyota-recalls… )

That Ball Python is pretty much as big as it's going to get. Mine was about that size when it died. :(

Service Advisor 101:

Call customer to ask if they would like the python removed. Advise on cost. Offer to include diag. in the total cost if they commit to the repair ("Otherwise, we do have the $120 flat diagnostic fee."). Try to upsell maintenance and tire nitrogen service. Wash car, vacuum out snake feces. Get dinged on service score because car runner got Cheesy Poof dust on customers window switch.

*Sigh.*

Technician worksheet:

Tire pressures: 35psi. Glovebox hinges broken. Steering column articulation, accelerator & brake pedal travel limited by Python, unable to safely road test vehicle. Cannot enter vehicle due to coincidental failure of all external door handles & locks while in shop. Recommend nuke vehicle from orbit, it's the only way to be sure.
